Nissan EV360 Unveiling Event

This Nissan event at Nissan Manufacturing Plant, announced Nissan EV36Zero, a £1 billion flagship Electric Vehicle (EV) Hub creating a world-first EV manufacturing ecosystem. Centred around the record-breaking plant in Sunderland, UK, Nissan EV36Zero will supercharge the company’s drive to carbon neutrality and establish a new 360-degree solution for zero-emission motoring.

Our previous Prime Minister Boris Johnson said: “Nissan’s announcement to build its new-generation all-electric vehicle in Sunderland, alongside a new gigafactory from Envision-AESC, is a major vote of confidence in the UK and our highly-skilled workers in the North East.

R&B Approach

Nissan are one of our many loyal clients who trust us to deliver high profile media events with added impact whilst recognising the issues around health and safety. In Nissans’ modern and fast paced automotive plant two vehicles every minute roll off the production line. That can be 2,500 vehicles each day during peak production periods!

As this event took place as the UK began to come out of the Covid19 pandemic special measures were introduced to ensure physical contact was limited amongst our crew and also when communicating with Nissan PR and Communications personnel.

Our AV crew need to be switched on at all times and we provide Nissan with the same R&B project manager for all of their events in the UK as this provides continuity of experience and knowledge of the special working practices on each site. In fact, R&B consistently provides the same project manager for all our regular clients events, this single point of contact from event concept, pre-production through to onsite installation, operation and post event feedback is highly valued by our clients.

The Nissan production plant is relatively noisy and very bright, so, powerful and bright HD 20k laser projection is a must together with finely tuned and balanced sound quality so that all visiting media camera crew can film and stream high quality imagery and sound around the world.
