Meet Senior Team Members
Barry is the B in R & B Group and having built the business across three decades has a wealth of experience and a long list of happy, satisfied clients. He currently resides as our Managing Director and is in charge of much of the day-to-day running of the business but you’ll also find him supporting the projects team by pitching in on installations and operating shows.
On the rare occasion Barry isn’t grafting, he enjoys cooking… and eating, checking out the latest gadgets and spending time listening to vinyl and grandchildren.
Kevin is our head of client services dealing with everything from business development and marketing to post event client care. Kevin will make sure that we meet all your expectations.
Kevin is a big music buff and used to spend his days performing as a singer, even singing at the Royal Albert Hall. These days he enjoys watching live bands and his favourite sports teams… the knees aren’t what they used to be!
Richard has been with us since 1996 and has worked his way up from the warehouse all the way to managing the projects team. His role means he has his finger on the pulse of all projects.
In his spare time, Richard is a keen sports fan and petrol head, following a multitude of motorsports and spending weekends as a freelance cameraman covering a range of sports across the country.
As Operations Manager, Bryan looks after the majority of logistics and resource planning for all the events that we produce. He provides technical support for some of our larger events across the UK. As one of our more experienced AV engineers he often helps with problem solving and lighting desk configuration when ‘lighting up’ our clients more prestigious award shows.
Outside of work, Bryan is a beer drinking, curry munching, family man. He enjoys walking with the team, often giving us historical information as we walk. We are never sure if he is telling the truth!?
Glyn is head of creative and video and has been with us since 2002. He has shot and edited thousands of videos over his career and has many loyal clients.
He has worked on projects ranging from television adverts to health and safety videos.
Glyn has a small holding with many chickens and he also buys at auctions to add to his various collections.
Sandra is our finance & administration controller and basically controls all of the money coming in and going out of the business… from invoices to wages, our Sandra has it covered.
Outside of work Sandra enjoys spending time with her daughter and recently has been helping her raise money for various charities.
Meet our Office Dog
Bailey is a 7 month old, Golden retriever who was bred in the Hexham Hills. She loves sticks, digging up the garden and even has a gap between two conifer trees where she disappears completely! Her owners call it the ‘Upside Down’ (i.e. as in Stranger things).
She loves going outside to watch the birds and aeroplanes go by and every seat in the house/office is game and is hers! If you are sitting working on a laptop, be prepared for a paw to land on your keyboard too. She is a very loving little lady who is partial to a play fight!
When Bailey isn’t snoozing under her owner, Glyn’s desk, she can be found getting lots of love from every member of staff!
