The youngest of the R&B Group team, Jordan actually has a world of events experience, let’s just say it runs in the family. Jordan works in our graphics department and is usually glued to her MacBook in a world of Keynote and Photoshop. Always chipper and first class at engineering graphics on events too, Jordan can think on her feet mid-presentation to ensure your on screen content is seamless! This is Jordan’s world…
NAME: Jordan Crerar
JOB TITLE: Presentation Graphic Designer
DESCRIBE YOUR AVERAGE WEEK AT R&B GROUP IN NO MORE THAN 50 WORDS:
Most Mondays and Tuesdays I’m based in the office creating presentations, and Wednesdays are often spent on the road travelling to site for an event. Thursday’s and the small hours of Friday I am operating the show and the rest of Friday is a relaxed travel back home to sleep! Although I wish it was this structured!
WHAT THREE THINGS DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB OR WORKING AT R&B GROUP?
- Every job is different! One day I’m meeting the Dulux dog at an exhibition and the next I’m mic-ing up Charlie Charlton from BBC Newcastle!
- The family atmosphere is great, especially since some of us really are family!
- I love how creative I can be. If there are ways in which presentations can be improved, I will suggest these to our client and work with them to enhance the aesthetics of their show.
HOW DO YOU LIKE TO RELAX?
It’s not very relaxing to be a huge roller coaster junkie! I love spending my weekends (and summer holidays!) at various theme parks across the world. In fact, I have my second visit to Alton Towers this year, this coming weekend…
WHAT’S YOUR PERFECT MEAL?
Such a difficult question for someone who enjoys dining out as much as I do… I guess I’d have to pick a particular burger from quality burger chain, Byron. Oh, with sweet potato fries!
WHAT WOULD THE TITLE OF YOUR DEBUT ALBUM BE?
I have a feeling my debut album would be for a very niche market, so I’d probably say ‘A Collection of Songs for the Deaf’.
IF YOU COULD HAVE ONE SUPERPOWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I’d love to be able to heal people. Life is so short, it should be spent being happy and healthy.
IF WE GAVE YOU £10,000 TO SPEND IN ONE HOUR, HOW WOULD YOU SPEND IT?
One hour?! I don’t know if I could! I’d probably book a holiday and see if I can run around various clothes shops like I was in Supermarket Sweep!
TELL US ONE THING WE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU.
I taught myself Swedish! It’s a story for another day, but I’m probably about 80% fluent now and still regularly visit Sweden. I even took an exam and everything!
